Moving Forward
UC San Diego has made significant progress in finding common goals to address diversity issues. The university stands in solidarity with students on implementing the actions needed to move past recent hurtful incidents and develop ways to respect differences while ensuring diversity on the campus, in the curriculum and throughout the UC San Diego community. We are focusing our efforts to ensure that our campus enrolls and welcomes underrepresented students. We want to make this a better learning and working environment for all of our students, staff and faculty. Although there is much work ahead of us, our ongoing partnership will build a healthier campus that supports everybody in a meaningful way. Discussions will continue with the goal of ensuring a safe campus climate for all.
